a definite must-read - if only to learn how to draw the line between an estimate and an appetite - and one that is not meant to be read only once. it is a reference book for radical solutions to almost all of our getting things-done-and-deployed-woes

i love everything about this book. [spoiler] i love that in the end, nora didn't end up living the life she obviously wanted, among the lives she had the chance to live. she ended up living the life she already have. it's so relatable in a way. i don't know
Bluets by Maggie Nelson

"bluets is a book about
a disabled friend, and small flowers
known as forget-me-nots.
it is about how certain people,
like flowers,
take root in you and alter life in
awful, unforgettable ways.
it is about art, not as therapy but
as an act of war against what destroyed
you,
but mostly it's about the color blue."
