I would give this a 3.5 stars. It was an entertaining read for sure but never as much as the first two volumes. It was definitely better than Faefever that's for sure. There was in my opinion a few answers but never as much as I thought. Plus it ended in a big cliffhanger, so I wanna read the final volume to know what happens.

I really hope the last volume will answer all the questions I've had during the whole series so far.

Emile Nelligan has always been and always will be very dear to my heart. His poetry still move me deeply even after reading it in college when I was 17 so many years ago. Will definitely be rereading for sure!

This series was on my radar for a few years and I recently purchased the first volume and wow! I started reading it last night and I finished it in less than a day.

The story of Marko and Alana was so interesting, the fact that their daughter newborn daughter (at least in volume 1) Hazel is narrating their whole family history was really original. The design of the characters were really good too.

I will definitely continue with the series!

I really enjoyed the book and I was loving it so much every chance I got I was reading it. Finally got all the answers I was looking for! The only downside to the book was Dani which I'm not a fan of.

I just finished this book and wow I'm blown away. The main character, January is very charming, fearless and an all around amazing well-rounded character. The fact that she has to deal with prejudice because she is a girl that is definitely eccentric considering the story takes place in the early 1900's.

I really liked that the book is split between the main story of January and another book inside the book, the ten thousands doors, is nothing like anything I've read before. Very refreshing!

It came at a moment right now in my life where I need a little more wonderment in little things and how stories can help.

One of the best read for me so far this year! Will definitely check out Alix E. Harrow new novel when it comes out.

What an amazing Harley Quinn comic. This comic is so different and amazing in it's portrayal of the relationship between the Joker and Harley Quinn. Most comics that have her in it are very fun but this one digs deeper in the psychological relationship between her and the Joker.

How he manipulates her into thinking she can change him and maybe save him. How she met him at a low point in her life and got enamored with him. Reminds me of the Batman animated series that I watched as a kid where she was first introduced into the Batman universe.

Plus the designs are simply gorgeous!

I'm a big fan of Trixie and Katya on Rupaul's drag race season 7 but even more their youtube weekly show UNHnnn. Every single week I know I will laugh a lot at their stories, Katya getting off topic and their interactions.

I bought the Audible version of the book and while it was good it was them narrating it, I found it okay but nothing more. I knew what I was getting into (not a serious book for sure :P), but I found it was funny but not in the way UHNnnn is.

It was an enjoyable audio reading of the book while working and I'm glad I bought the audiobook but I think I was looking for something that feels more like UHNnnn.

I listened to the audiobook in French on the Radio-Canada app and wow was it good. As someone who was bullied in her youth it was a very powerful read. The fact that the story also involves Jane Eyre as Hélène is reading it and making parallel to her life is very good too.

The only complaint that I have is that Hélène is waiting it seems that someone in her life will love her as she is. Which is not a bad thing but I think she should love herself first.

3.5 stars

An okay romance. I really liked the beginning, it seems very promising to me and all throughout the book it seemed like something was missing. The characters were ok but nothing more.
