I really liked this book. I think the only thing is I wanted more. <I was sad that the journal basically ended with her arriving at the final place. I wanted to hear her thoughts about why she stayed. I was just really invested in her story.>

I really struggled with rating this book. This book is not fun or enjoyable, but it is an important read. I have my own troubled past and it troubled me deeply. The writer is so brave and I have such respect for her. Please read with care and make sure you are in the right place in your life and mind.
