This was a nice change in pace from the other two books (and a much needed break from all of the sad books I've been reading lately), but it still feels like the continuation of more side quests. Not that I don't find that enjoyable. I just don't think this series will ever be something particularly special to me

I don't think a book has ever made me feel this empty before. It's very obvious where the story is going and what's going to happen to the characters right from the beginning, but there is nothing you can do to stop it. It's just reading about someone's hopes and dreams while having the knowledge that none of them will ever be achieved

This is the least thrilling thriller I have ever read. Even Verity by Colleen Hoover has more suspense than this. I predicted what was going to happen at the end of the book before I had even finished the first chapter

I really struggled to get through this book, not because it's badly written, but because I didn't care about anything that happened at all. The entire book just follows this butler as he slowly realises that he hasn't done much in his life other than being a butler. Had I managed to connect with him, that would be one thing, but that never happened and I think that made it very difficult to enjoy the book as a whole

This felt like reading a mission impossible movie. The main difference I found between them is that the storyline in this never took any breaks and went in one straight, slightly increasing, line the entire time until it reached the conclusion. I also like mission impossible a lot more than I liked this
