Gosh this book. This is literally THE book for teenage girls. It is girlhood, and it's so special to my heart. I've liked this book since I was young and I re-read it, and I love it. If you are a teenage girl (or not) read this.
6 stars. This book had me in tears after I finished it. I was thinking about this book weeks after reading it, and STILL am 3 months later. This is a childhood friends to lovers' trope, and I really disliked this trope before I read this, but this book converted me. My friend actually recommended this to me, and she never steers me wrong, so I caved and bought it. Best. Decision. Ever. I will literally never be the same after reading this. I know that the style of writing isn't everybody's favorite, but I like it. The author did SUCH a good job building tension over flashbacks and present day situations. Thats a sign of a good author. Would recommend.
