Slow burn on the romance side as they don’t kiss until around the 200th page. But after that whew they were feral for each other! Overall really good book and did a wonderful job giving that Christmas vibe throughout the entire thing!

First of all let me just say, Melissa Albert is an amazing author, and I’m ecstatic to read her new book being released next year! Now, The Hazel Wood was an amazing introduction to the two book series. From the clear but not overwhelming spark between Alice and Finch, Alice and Ella’s relationship as mother/daughter not bound by blood but by an unexplainable love Ella had for soon to be ex-story Alice. I see that some had higher expectations while reading, personally I lack any valid criticism to give. Definitely recommend this read to everyone into slightly dark fairytales!

Feeding the Soul (Because It's My Business): Finding Our Way to Joy, Love, and Freedom by Tabitha Brown

The emotions, trials and tribulations, accomplishments, and heartfelt stories shared with us by the wonderful Tabitha Brown left me reading this twice! Upon finishing Tabitha’s book it shows even clearer how and why she is in the position she is. Following the faith of god and living for herself and not to please others may not have accelerated her success but surely kept her on track to achieving everything that fueled her success. Can’t lie I let out a few tears while reading this masterpiece, 10/10 would recommend!

Before I share my thoughts on this exquisite body of work, I want to say Rest In Paradise to such an amazing author. This is my first time reading anything by Eric and Seeing how it took me all of two days to finish, I’d say it’s currently my favorite read of the year. Extremely excited to dive deeper into Eric’s catalog, especially “Bad men wicked women” which continues Ken Swifts story line. To conclude, happy reading to everyone!
