Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson
3.0
I appreciate Brandon Sanderson's ability to write rakish characters I actually like; I usually want them to jump off a cliff. I didn't personally connect with the story, but it was fun and I'm glad I read it.
Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman
2.0
I regret to say this flopped for me. Neil Gaiman's desire to tell the stories in their truest form ultimately leaves them humorless and unemotional. A good starting point, perhaps, since its any easy read, but I prefer books with personality. I'm really sorry if that's offensive, but I was just SO BORED.
Tokyo Ghoul: Days by Shin Towada
2.0
A totally pointless addition to the Tokyo Ghoul universe. It's just filler that reads like a movie novelization, and it's not even fun or insightful, which could go a long way in justifying its existence. I'm taking a pass on the other novelizations in the series.
