Not going to lie, the plot twist at the end kind of caught me off guard… like I knew there was something off but didn’t think it would be what it was. I can’t wait for the 2nd book “The Cursed” to come out.
I honestly loved the main character even if she was a little rougher around the edges, she had a smart mind and knew what she wanted. Though I do wish they expanded more on the world-building (as well as relationships with other characters; literally anyone such as her roommates or other vessels) because the focus is only really on the two main characters throughout the book than the overarching plot. All in all it was very entertaining and I had fun with this book and it’s characters.
