I loved this book. The only thing that keeps my from giving 5/5 stars is the end. I was loving every moment of the book and got to the end and felt as though it did not have a true conclusion. I have great admiration for devoted marriages, even if I am committed to living the single life. I just wish that there was a conclusive chapter that tied everything together as a reminder of why and how we can strive to live the Deborah anointed life. Awesome read, though!
This book is a modern-day "The Yellow Wallpaper" at next-level extremes with vulnerable and authentic realness that shouts back with God, self, joy, and hope. Justice to Britney and to anyone trapped in abuse!
"I was absolutely spell-bound, questioning everything, and further fell in love with our protagonists along with Penny's artful descriptive imagery though victuals, art, nature, as well as relationships along with the deepset and perfectly timed symbolism that never fails to leave an imprint on your spirit. I have the 3 on the way in the mail!
