I appreciate the optimism and the easy-to-read formatting that provides ideas and troubleshooting. Two things that I had to include in the review of this text is that is practically a decade old and so: 1. There are newer challenges that teachers face to address the needs of students and 2. As an educator in a rural and lower income school district that has watched our schools continuously get cut to the marrow with issues such as declining enrollment and loss of funding, I find it demoralizing to educators that put in above and beyond (including personal sacrifices) to suggest that their mindsets are the problem instead of giving real strategies to face a very real monetary deficit in which support for creativity is appreciated, but adding more to their plates by demanding even more from them is frankly unrealistic and out of touch with how much school teachers have on their plates. A revised version that makes these considerations would be appreciated!
