okay, giving this a higher rating than what I was thinking of giving it cos it is a coming of age story and the way it tackles the views on feminism and other societal values is quite fitting for the age group they were in.
But the rest of the story is just trying too hard- the romance wasn't really needed but since it's there, it should've at least had given more thought or had more substance. It felt forced and just didn't make sense why it needed to happen, but well, it did.
