I loved this book. I fell asleep reading this book and would dream about this book. I was irritated when I had to do things that didn't include reading this book.
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about a thriller/suspense/whodunit rom-com, but I'm glad I took a chance, because I loved it.

The banter was excellent, the friendships were strong, the dog was perfect, the ex was awful, the ex's new girl was *insert parks and rec gif* the worst!

I was very satisfied with the ending of this book. I think I figured out whodunit right when the author wanted me to, but before it was actually revealed. I felt like a genius.

I would absolutely recommend this book.

I enjoyed this and it was a nice break from the last few thrillers I read which was nice.

I loved this book β™‘ I haven't really read many age gap romances, but I'm currently obsessed with hockey romance, and the age gap trope played into this very well.
Nina was spunky and fun and sure of herself but also a very realistic character with her anxiety.
Rhode is older but seems lost and not sure what he wants in life, but when he meets Nina, his life changes for the better, especially when he gets over his age gap issues.
There is a third act breakup, but it's expected and very well done.
I finished this book and kept smiling. The banter was so great! I can't even begin to explain how many times I highlighted quotes, and my note was "lol" or "dead" or "I'm wheezing" or "lmao" just wonderful.
The growth that both Nina and Rhode went through during the book was lovely, and I loved the family bonding and also the bro-mances β™‘
I hope there will be more books with the other characters 🀞🏻🀞🏻

This was very informative and heavy. I definitely had to take some breaks while reading this because it was very hard and emotional. I definitely learned a lot and am so glad that I read it. I am deeply saddened after reading this

I was so excited reading this book. I was drawn in immediately and was absolutely captivated. There was so much excitement. I couldn't put it down, and I was thinking about it constantly. I love Amanda's writing style. I read This Wicked Curse, and that one was great, too.

I don't really know how to say much about it without giving anything away. This book is great for lovers of:

What an absolutely fantastic debut novel!

This book covered some really difficult topics in a very thoughtful way. This book made me laugh and made me cry. I felt so invested in the growth and development of these completely fictional characters. This book felt very insightful and really resonated with me.

This was my favorite quote:
"It’s interestingβ€”when people go through something shitty in lifeβ€”we think that mentioning it will suddenly make them remember and fall into the darkness. But any person that’s lived through a traumatic event knows that it’s not forgotten. Your world just kind of becomes . . . less light."

I thought that was absolutely beautiful. As someone who has dealt with my fair share of trauma, this felt so thoughtful and validating.

This story had an absolutely beautiful love story but with realistic hurdles.

If I had to use one word to describe this book, it would be beautiful.

I really enjoyed this book. I listened to the audiobook and I was a little nervous because I have a hard time keeping up with characters if there are a lot of them. And audiobook makes is more difficult.
This audiobook was easy to read and I think I did a pretty good job of separating the characters. That leads me to believe that each character was their own individual and they didn't all just run together.
The narrators were great! I felt like the Voices matched the characters and they had great voices.
I'm not typically a huge fan of books based on Mythology but I really enjoyed this one.

This book felt like smut for the sake of smut. I enjoyed the smut, but it was almost like reading the screenplay of a porno.
I think the only descriptions I remember of the characters physical appearance was that Jake had brown hair and green eyes, Mars had long blonde hair and was Finnish and Caleb had a pierced d*ck.

I think I would have been able to give this a higher rating if it wasn't as long as it was. It almost feel like an errand to get through.
