I really did like this book, but at some points, it was so hard to read. The time these people lost just because they refused to communicate. It seriously irks me. But I love how much Macy and Elliot love each other. It's crazy that they never stopped, even after 11 years of no contact. But I can't get over how stubborn Macy is. Like yes, you have trauma, but honey, you had 11 years to go to therapy. And now you're making it everyone else's problem. Girl, please. And Elliot pining over Macy for so long? Sure it's cute but a little pathetic. He had 11 years to go to therapy too. Two very stubborn people. I feel bad for Rachel.

This was such a fun mystery. I enjoyed reading about the characters and all their drama. It was very entertaining. I didn't predict the ending which makes me feel stupid but it made more sense than my prediction. I do think the murderer's motives were strange. But that's just me. In short, I liked it. Also Kelly and Steve need to date already.

Suzanne Collins is a genius. The detail she puts into her books, all the little connections she makes to the original series. It blew my mind. But, I did not enjoy reading this book. Snow is easily the most unlikeable character ever written. Is it brilliant writing? Yes, of course. But my hatred for Snow grew tenfold as I read this book. What a horrible person. How does so much hatred and complete disregard for human life exist in one person. The only consolation I get is knowing that he dies in the end. And everything he worked so hard for is destroyed by a rebel from district 12. Karma will always bite you in the ass.

This was so good. And I know for a fact that this book will go down in history. What a wonderful book. Why did it take me this long to read it???

I was going to dnf this one. The beginning of this book wasn't that strong. I felt like Carla and Eamon's relationship was extremely rushed and I found myself cringing over things they would say cause they had only just met. I'm not a fan of insta love. But I stuck with it. And I did enjoy the second half a lot more than the first half. The chapters where Carla is home with her dad really tugged at my heartstrings. I loved all the side characters and how lovely and kind they were. I enjoyed most of this book, but probably not enough to read again.

This was just okay. I found the main characters annoying. Adalyn was annoying and always jumping to conclusions, thinking she knew best. Cameron was rude and abrasive and couldn't say a kind word to someone if his life depended on it. Adalyn's dad was a piece of shit. David was an even bigger piece of shit. And I felt annoyed for the majority of this book. None of these people actually communicated. And the romance felt a little forced? The enemies to lovers wasn't giving what needed to be gave. They became all cutesy with each other way too quickly. We jumped from hating each other to being in love with each other in like, a day. This was not enemies to lovers. This was annoyances to lovers. Big difference. So anyway, this is my least favorite of Elena Armas's work. It's not bad, just not for me.
