You dont need to know much about me. Just know that I love The Remnant Chronicles books and that im going to pour my heart into this review:
This is going to be spoilery.

Truth be told, when i first read the [book:The Remnant Chronicles|32596688] i used to skip the sacred texts in between the chapters.
It came from my own life, as what a looked in the eyes of a 17 y\o jewish (but not religious) girl  - it seemed unreadable, spoke in too much riddles and told you about a truth that needs to guide your life. But in this world, it just adds to the story so so much.
I think it took the 2nd or 3rd reread for me to fully read them, but until i got to reading Morrighan i completely forgot about them.

I love that we got to see this girl's story. Her worth was spoken about not dierctly but it was clear the effect and power she had in this book, even just as a name of a girl that once lived long long ago.
It was read like a story as it would be told by a child, or someone with the spirit of one - as they talk about hardships and trumbles in their past. I thought at first this was going to be the religious texts, but it was mostly her words, her experiences - made me think that what if the sacred texts were her writing down everything that Ama had told her, made me ache thinking they probably never met again....

I didn't remember much about her story from the books, just that throughout the trilogy Lia had discovered more and more about her and her life. This book ties beautifully the meaning behind Lia's destiny and that she was meant to "End" a process that had started when Jafir and Morrighan had built their home.
I loved seeing Thor's watch (and that in the remnant world the Ballenger strongminded way of leadership is hereditary).

BTW, if you compare the Morrighan map to the series map, you'll find two points there that say "Jounrey Begin" and "Journey Ends", right close to two very important places in the remnant books - Mirabella and Terravin. MIND BLOWN.
Lia and Rafe's story began in Terravin and ended in Marabella, as Morrighan and Jafir's story started in Marabella and ended in Terravin.

[author:Mary E. Pearson|123463] Just ties everything so beautifully. It felt like a story that she wanted to tell, one she cared about and i am so happy she got to share it. AHHHHHHHHHH

I NEED MORE REMNANT BOOKS NOWWWWWWWW :(
