feels so relevant to read rn. i loved the writing style, it’s what rounded this book up to a 5 for me. eilish annoyed me after a bit but not so much that it turned me off from the book, and i was quick to realise i could at least empathise with her. haunting enough in a paranoid kind of way that i got nightmares from it one night.

by far my favorite textbook in my undergrad so far (hence me actually logging it + the fact that i read it in its entirety). the epilogue made me shed a tear or two (cliche physics major, i know). loved the way she explained the derivations, and the humor thrown into every chapter made it much more enjoyable to read than my quantum textbook is… i understand why it won the AAS writing award :)

im not really a romance reader anymore buuut my sister got this book at a fair yesterday and really liked it so i gave it a go :) it was pretty enjoyable, i liked the split perspectives + that it touched on heavier topics. liked that when it discussed biphobia, it covered how it differs for men vs women

joyeux 14 ! as some may know i reread the entire series while interrailing in denmark, so now that i’m home and road tripping, i decided i might as well read the latest release. you can def tell where nora has grown as a writer i guess ??
loved seeing sort of what the status quo was after the events of book 3, but didn’t love the repeat traits and plot devices— at least they were applied differently. i need to know what the scandal was and also everything about jeremy.
as someone i follow on here said— these books are kind of shit in a "it’s way too complicated to explain and also super unrealistic sometimes and nobody who i have introduced these books to has even wanted to spend a second longer in my presence" kind of way but also The Emotions.
nora i love u for what u have done for what u have put me through
