I've been flopping around trying to get a second language for years, and I realized I had never read a book about language learning. This definitely outlines a different approach than I've taken previously and it makes perfect sense based on everything I know about learning in general. I'll try my best to implement it and see if I can get comfortably conversational by the end of the year. Maybe I'll report back.
This was recommended to me and when I saw how short it was I decided to just knock it out. I know some people say they read this every month to keep the mindset, and as that kind of refresher, it seems pretty good, but it was lacking a bit for me. This felt incomplete.
This is laid out pretty well for people who don't have much background in marketing to get an understanding of what actually drives sales and how they can take action on it. I would definitely reccomend it to marketing newbies, but having a bit more experience, it wasn't groundbreaking.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

This was delightful and probably just what I needed right now.
Really enjoyed the descriptions of the group starting and running the improvement society, but, of course, all of Anne's shenanigans were fun. I really am a sucker for slice of life type stories though.
Some parts were still a bit sad, but not as sad as some parts of the 1st book, at least.
One of the historical claims I ended up fact checking was actually only a rumor, but stated as fact. Otherwise a phenomenal book. I enjoyed it much more thannid excpected to.
