This was even better than I expected it to be, exploring so many important and interesting topics from a slightly different angle than they are usually explored and really requiring you to think about concepts many of us take for granted. I'm excited to read the follow up book too.

I feel that this has become too commonplace to be a worthwhile read as most of the concepts described are easily deduced from other books, movies, and media.

I was hesitant to read this when it was recommended to me, but it was actually suprisingly well written and researched. This is the only dating type book I've read, so I can't compare it to that specific genre, but I can say as a book on human social behavior, it was a decent read. While some tactics recommended here are questionable, a lot of this book is telling women's to have their own lives and interests, which is obviously solid advice.

While some brief sections are either too dense with neurological rehtoric for the average person to totally follow, or feel like the random musings of a narcissist, those exerpts are not actually out of place and most of the book is interesting and enjoyable. I would recommend it to anyone interested in the human brain or psychopathy.
