That was a whole lot of build up to a whole lot of nothing...
the last two chapters were the only parts that held any substance or intrigue, and a lot of it I felt like was pulled out of nowhere and thrown together in an attempt to make the book more interesting than it actually was.
I have heard and been told the series gets better as it goes on, and I am willing to be open minded and continue on to the next one, but my expectations are about as low as they come.
