Kind of a weird, Conan-like book set in a collapsed space empire. It's cool at first, but it has that same Conan weakness where you stop caring because it eventually devolves into a convoluted shaggy dog story.
"Unhanged witch" is a hell of a thing to call someone.
Story made a lot more sense after I'd read that the author felt guilty for being a descendant of one of the judges at the Salem Witch Trials.
