A tense tale about revenge, heritage, and how trauma causes us to propagate a cycle of violence - intentionally or unintentionally. Something of a slasher with a unique setting and a strong cast of diverse and emotionally deep characters.

The perfect balance of realistic, hard-hitting human emotional storytelling and Lovecraftian eldritch horror. The creatures were quite unique in comparison to anything else i've read, and the scope of the story and setpieces are incredible. The perfect length to leave you wanting more - and thinking of the answers for yourself. While the story structure won't be for everyone, I loved it.
