Even though the book was very slow at times it was made inevitably made better by the poetic writing. Caleb Azumah Nelson knows how to write emotions and understands how to express them just so that other people can see themselves in them as well.

had its funny moments but also bored me to no end 
The author stated at the beginning that Vile Bodies was a writing challenge for him to write a certain amount of words daily and sadly that's exactly how the book felt after like 80 pages. You could just not see the characters go anywhere since they kept on doing the same mistakes and the whole thing was going in circles.
