I love that this book focuses on Nesta's point of view. She is very flawed, but she is also resilient and relatable. Often, the strong female character trope relies on a woman who does typically male activities, such as fighting or killing. While she does train to get stronger, her character development is heavily reliant on her ability to find inner peace and emotional strength, which I value. Oh, and the romance is breathtaking.

Best book in the series so far.
The relationship between Dorian and Sorcha felt a bit forced, and I don't like that her character's whole purpose was to further Dorian's development, but Aelin's character development was so amazing I can get over it. So glad Rowan finally entered the series. His and Aelin's slow-burn enemies-to-lovers relationship is to die for.
