3.75 stars - really enjoyed some bits more than others!
The book of form and emptiness follows the story of Benny Oh and his mother annabelle as they navigate life after the death of Benny's father. I enjoyed the different points of view, mostly the POV of Annabelle.
What I liked💫 The writing style was beautiful. It was lovely to read. It gripped me in straight away and I really grew to care about the characters.
What I didn't really like🫠
It was very character driven so sometimes the plot felt forgotten about and not much was happening.
Without given spoilers, there was a POV from neither of the characters that I thought was needed at the start but towards the end it was pretty boring and didn't really add to the story.
Overall glad I read this story and think it will stay with me. I would definitely like to pick up more from this author especially as I loved her writing style.

"How to win a breakup" was a light and easy read and I actually really enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It was right amount of cute but I didn't find it cringey (mostly) or childish.

This wasn't for me at all. Found myself nearly half way through but nothing was happening and I found it boring. I get readers will say its deep and has hidden meanings but reading should be enjoyable and this wasnt what i thought it would be.
I thought to myself.... should I continue to just get it done with? But there's so many books in the world I don't want to waste time on one I don't care about.
