The 2nd book ended up with Ena and Finn doing another run and saving 4 sorcis kids from a town a little farther than Ilbrea. The run they did was one of the most dangerous ones because they went there blind, not knowing where or who the kid/s are. Finding themselves trapped between the sorceress and the guilds, Ena takes the most dangerous decision ever – to run from Finn and the kids and making the sorceress and the guilds to follow her. The book ends up in such an amazing way that leaves you speechless – on her run away from the sorceress and the guilds the mountain opens up and accepts Ena inside, saving her from a horrible death by the guilds.
After being swallowed by the mountain at the end of the 2nd book, on the 3rd book Ena’s going through the mountain tunnel for 2 weeks until finally she’s being “allowed” by the mountain to get out and return to their camp – however, once she returns to the camp things aren’t better, she finds out that they need to leave for Lygan Hall way before the winter comes. Things are not going for the better, the guilds are becoming stronger, there’s a traitor who betrayed them and while Ena was gone, they also lost some people due to the monsters that were sent near their camp.
This books, I really have no words to express on how they made me feel. From happiness to horror to being afraid I’ve had them all. The whole story is told from Ena’s pov, how she feels, what she’s going through and keeps you guessing what’s happening next. Each book starting the 1st one is jam packed with action and so many amazing events.
The 3rd book has more dark tones than the previous one, from being attacked on their way to Lygan Hall to loosing Finn, the events can be pretty graphic and might be triggers such as death, blood, abuse – the book has different tones from page to page so there is no slow moment, nothing to make you bored but instead make you turn that page as fast as possible.
The book the way is worded makes you feel every single thing Ena’s feeling, her loss, her fear everything is so palpable that at some moments you wonder if this is actually real or an art of fiction? I don’t have words to express how much I love this serie. You see Ena growing from book to book developing as a female and character, a very important piece into this serie and the quotes you find around the book really touches your soul in unimaginable ways.

In the 4th and last book from Ena of Ilbrea series, Ena and Liam are going through retaliations with other clans and the Guilds. They’ve found the traitor but the lies and issues go beyond the traitor that was on their camp. Someone beyond their clan was telling the Guilds everything they do and where they go leaving them discovered and in danger.
I wasn’t expecting this book to develop and end this way. I can legit tell you I’m on a book heartbroken slump and even tho I already read another book my mind keeps going back to Ena of Ilbrea and how her story will continue.
In this book, things go from wrong to worst behind your eyes. They’ve found the traitor, they’ve found the one who was telling the Guilds where and what they do and they also found the mine The Guilds was exploiting to have mountain rock full of magic and make magical weapons to use against the people. On their run to the Lir Valley and destroying their mine, they’ve lost a couple of people and plenty of them got hurt.
I don’t even know how to exactly explain what happened in this book. One minute we were in Lygan Hall the next we were in the Lir Valley fighting The Guilds, destroying their mine and freeing the people, and then we were at the end… where Liam has lied to Ena that she needs to go and get help, while he was using his magic, sacrificing himself to save and destroy The Guilds.. leaving Ena all alone, with just a letter and some words saying sorry.
That scene really made me sad, I could feel her pain and how heartbroken and how betrayed she felt when he lied to her. Seconds ago they were talking about their future and having a family and now she was all alone, sad, heartbroken, and with a rage growing in her heart. Most of the books that I read have some type of happy ending but these books that have a different ending really bring me back to reality and leave me speechless and as my character, heartbroken.
The way Megan writes her books for me is amazing, is raw, powerful, and will leave you craving for more even when your heart is shattered.

I love and I will always love this serie. I've devoured the love story between Katy and Daemon, the way they loved each other and stick to each other.
I loved the fact that Katy wasn't made a weak girl. She was powerful and had an amazing strength inside her to go through everything that happened in her life and she fought shoulder to shoulder with everyone.
I've read and re-read the books a couple of times by now because I haven't had the entire serie until recently, then I've finally finished it.
Lux Series was my 2nd fiction type of books and made me fall in love even more with the fantasy and fiction books.

I started reading this book on a Monday and even if I was already on page 344 / 408 I was intrigued because I couldn't understand what the story with Lucas is.
Pariah by Sullivan Gray

The book is definitely very powerful due to the events that are happening. There's an attempt of rape, not very graphic but enough details to give you shivers down your spine and make you understand the trauma behind it, even if the action wasn't finished. Only the attempt is enough to shook you to your core.
The book enraged me, mostly because these things are events happening all around us, the bullying, the rape, the fact that someone can become a pariah when she doesn't fit into the pattern, the race, and the hate. Things all around us and most of the time as in the book there's very few people who trust you and tries to help you, or even tries to understand you, the rest are people who won't understand, or they'll pretend is alright.
Taya is the type of girl that the events in her life are either breaking her or making her, and she's the one who doesn't let the events around her break her. She's courageous, strong, and fearless, even tho due to trauma she has moments where she freezes and needs to pick herself back up.
It's an amazing story, with a lot of realism into it and amazing scenario that keeps you on your toes wanting for more, the story doesn't let time for interpretation of what's going to happen next, its this intense that I've devoured it quickly more than I've expected. This book contains impactful events, such as rape attempts and bullying. The rape attempt isn't finished or very descriptive but it's enough detailed to make you feel what she felt.
Even tho the events are of a more different nature than what I've expected, it didn't discourage me to read it, on the contrary, I loved it. It's an amazing story, but it can be triggering.

Suppressed by Sullivan Gray

◦ I've received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ◦
Suppressed is a slow burn of romance and supernatural leaving no place for interpretation of what's going to happen next, suspense, adventure and love all mixing together, bringing you to the beginnings of everything - where supernatural began/
Suppressed is a continuation from Pariah where the new events will let you be speechless, where you'll learn about the supernatural world and how people react towards it. Two sides of a coin - one fighting for the good, one fighting for the evil. The way the events are rolling in the book you will not even realize when the book's over!
I've read the 2nd book way too quickly, I didn't even realize when I finished it to be honest that's how good this saga is. You don't know when its over, you don't know how time has passed near you, it just swipes you off your feet and takes you to a world where people barely find out about supernatural, you can see how if this would've been real, how things would've been. People not understanding the supernatural, calling you a freak because they don't understand, is an amazing perspective of how supernatural would be in our worlds - something that I've always thought about. And this book gives you exactly that, a new perspective of how the world of supernatural would be depicted if people would find out that creatures actually exist, is an amazing perspective and it kept me in total suspense.
The fact that the book is a slow burn made me love it even more because when things go slow you get the chance to see the development behind everything, their feelings, the events leading to that moment where everything makes sense and everything fits right on the place.
I can't wait to see what the 3rd book is bringing to us, the relationship between Taya and Church, the supernatural world taking a turn for the best or worst, the Academy and so many more things going on around people who most of them have no clue that shapeshifters and other creatures exist. I'm really curious how the usual people are going to react when the supernatural world will be exposed!

After being sick of lies, secrets and the fact Church has claimed her with a single bite, and then the disgust on his face knowing they’re bonded forever – made her take the hardest decision ever. To trust someone else and leave everyone behind, going to the Academy – the secret place where supernaturals would have a normal life, learning about themselves and the magic.
If on the 2nd book Taya has gone through hell, on the 3rd book things seem to slow down and somehow feel normal. She’s at the Academy, learning every day about magic and herself more and more, and never be left alone by her “shadow” Noah. The girls on the Academy all want to kill her, and the guys, well she doesn’t know their exact thoughts, but being shadowed by Noah every single day of the moment doesn’t make things easier for her, or helping her make friends. After Taya blowing up the glasses of an entire class and somehow unlocking the power of everyone involved in that room – things start to go hirewire.
This book was amazing. I wasn’t expecting this story to develop this way, the ups and downs throughout the book keeps you guessing what is coming next. If things started slow and peaceful, the middle and the end were a rollercoaster – PERFECT to end the trilogy with and what I liked the most was the happy ending Taya deserved.
This time this book doesn’t contain any triggers (couldn’t find any) and there’s also no slow romance, is pure action from top to bottom. Events developing one after another, taking you on the last part of Taya’s story, learning more about the supernatural world she’s living in, and what type of supes exist, and how dangerous some of them can be once their magic is being unlocked. Taya and her friends are amazing characters and without them, the book wouldn’t be complete.
