Didn't love the ending but it was pretty good overall. Not my fave but I would be willing to read more from this author. I'm on the fence with the characters, but I liked the mystique of the island.

Overall decent, especially for the age group it is intended for, but not a favorite middle grade read for me. Loved the Yagas, the lore of Yagas, and the places that were included. Marinka was a decent main character as well albeit a little frustrating at times

I really enjoyed this. Didnt love the end, but that didn't take away from the rest of it. Had good likeable characters and good unlikeable characters. Kept me engaged and wanting to know more. Does bounce back from present and past time frames.
Def check some trigger/content warnings.

Just as wonderful, wholesome, and made me teary eyed as the first one! 10/10 could relate to one part as someone who used to like cats but never to the extent that I do now. There's just something about cats, y'all.
1000% going to continue checking the other volumes out from my library. If the series continues to be this delightful, it might just became one of my favorite mangas.

The twist def took me off guard a little, but the rest was just okay.
(Minor silly things just because I'm from wisco- didn't love how the narrators said Wisconsin 😂 and I thought it was weird that the author chose to call it tater tot casserole instead of hot dish. It's hot dish yall)

Persephone is still a bit annoying in this, but this book of her pov was better than the last one. Love the growing tension of mortal and demigod vs gods storyline, and of course the hot stuff was hot. This one might be my favorite Persephone pov book so far.

Decent enough. Nothing really standout for me tho.

Great intro to the Tulsa Massacre. Made me so mad and sad at the same time.
Would read more from this author.

Loved this!! It was wholesome with a touch of sadness (I teared up at the good and the bit of sad in this). I will 1000% continue with this manga series when the other ones become available to me through my library

I really enjoyed this. Loved that a character was mixed indo like me which was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the spirit companion aspect quite a bit. Pretty solid gothic horror for me.
