A surprisingly quick read that pulls you into the cruel opulence of the NYC/Hollywood elite, it’s definitely salacious but honest and just when I felt like it depicted things as black and white, Susann throws a bit of humanity and nuance back into the characters. Almost like a beach read with no happy endings, but feels like a guilty pleasure to tear through
