A great ending to the series which I've enjoyed, action-packed and fast-paced with a unique focus on human trafficking

A quick read but disappointing, felt chaotic and disjointed and the story was just a bit daft for me.

A book that raises a lot of questions in regards to morals/ethics - with a main character that has the power to give and take away life. Lost its way slightly in the middle but the end made up for it.

Reality mixed with reality, poetically written in an interesting structure. Focus on a main female character with a physical abnormality and what comes with that. Enjoyed the fact pages.

Slightly confusing at the start but then got into it, poetic and descriptive writing. Culture and class strong topics with a somewhat dysfunctional and imbalanced relationship going on. Split into three parts with the third providing some clarification/leaving a question mark over if it's true.

Quite a slow read with not a lot happening, just okay. Enjoyed the focus on Chinese/Vietnamese culture and learning about that.
