a bit hard to get into at the beggining because of the different writing but then it was a super interesting book and a very easy and fast read. Very good book with very important themes

tears. enough said.
i don't agree with all the decisions in the book and some of them aggravate me but it just makes me enjoy the book more for not being predictable or agreeable I guess

Gotta say, this book did not disappoint. i kept seeing people comparing it to TMI and saying it was muh better and surprisingly i think so too.
there's a whole bunch of mistery and the characters seem more mature than in TMI which i liked a lot. i just wanted to keep reading and reading and still i haven't found the answers i desperately need. (not saying it as a bad thing)
I guess i could compare some characters in both series, though I find that when i do I just realize that those in TID are much better developed and i care much more for them than i did the ones in TMI. For example, comparing Clary to Tessa, I believe Tessa is much more relatable and idk concrete? solid? as a character than Clary, who seemed only to be the product of the plot and not a real person, unlike Tessa. IMO.
