This is basically a picture book for adults…. plus it’s a bit nonsensical to come up with customer pains, gains, and jobs without having done any discovery research first. A flawed fundamental premise.

Lovely but it’s brevity is its main limitation
Alone with You in the Ether by Olivie Blake

As my roommate said when I started describing this book to her, “They are alone in what? The ethernet?”

Some beautiful prose throughout, but found the central couple frustrating from the offset. We hear a lot about how they are a match made in heaven - or should I say the ether(net)! - but through their actions we see a highly codependent pair who ultimately enforce each other’s worst instincts. Though I understand Blake has a personal connection to the topic, I still found the depiction of mood disorders here to be reckless. Regan, please takes your meds!

I can understand the appeal of this book and it’s success on Booktok, but it was just not for me.
