Wow I read this so long ago, and watched the movie for the first time last year. When I first read it, it was okay but rereading it as an adult it was moving and powerful. It was reminded me that at some point in life certain people honestly weren't allowed to read they weren't allowed to write from their own hands. This book changed alot for me, it was one of the reasons I fell in love with books in the first place. Because I had a right to read and to love something.
