We really liked this one. My son had been feeling very anxious before bed and this really helped us focus our thoughts on the Lord before going to bed and is something he wants to do every night before bed now.

"Behind the veil of trees, nights voices shimmered."

I found this one hard to get into which was due to its lyrical style, but given the author is a poet doesn't surprise me. The abuse in this one was hard to read.

I really enjoyed this much to my surprise I am not much of an adult fantasy reader and if the steam had happened in the first 100 pages I would have put it was down. That being said I was sad that this was was a enemy to lovers and not friends to lovers.

This was my first Abby Jiminez and I really enjoyed it! I was sucked in instantly! I really liked this book. The fact that the horrible friend had my name and the love interest had my brothers gave me some hurdles to deal with, not to mention lots of pregnancies and a miscarriage. I was shocked how much I liked this though despite those things. It was so worth it.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a christian suspense so I enjoyed this one, even if some of the details hit a little close to home. I hope to read more by this author as the series continues.

Another cute read about a ghostwriter which is a profession that fascinates me. Overall, I liked the ending but didn’t love the journey. I didn’t feel like rooting for them and jack just seemed shady to me.

This is a great book for all ages. It is a heavy subject but one that is so important to discuss with our children. I just adored the kindness of these children. I am not sure if this was on purpose or not but I completely missed the main characters name after discussing with a buddy group I guess it was mentioned at the end. It would have been interesting to only read it physically to see what gender I would have guessed but I switched back and forth between the audio and the physical.

This one was so poetic it was hard for me to follow at times, not to mention the magic realism. I am starting to think that Oprah book club picks may not be for me. I believe this is my third one that I could not get into.
