I don't know if I was the audience for this book. I don't know... I felt that I was and idiot cause I didn't get it. I know that this book is about existentialism but I don't know if the message was for me or for the character. I just think I need someone to explain me 😅

I was hesitant to give it 4 stars. I was really  biased because I watched the movie first and find it very pretentious. When the book started I was convinced that I wouldn't like it. But that ending though! It turned things around and the whole book just clicked into place.

If you're like character centered stories, tou should pick up this one.

I'm in shock how this book is. Im in love of the prose and how the narrator describes such things in great detail. It made me reflect on how grateful I should be for the ordinary and mundane things in life, to be more observer of the details of life. I'm thankful that I decided to read this piece of gem.

Well well, this book was a fun, silly, goofy time hahaha... nothing serious about it, just your same old smutty, cliché, never ending novel.

The best part of this book is, when I read the spicy scenes to my husband hahaha... He felt tortured at every cringe worthy sentence.

Great Non fiction to start with. It's very insightful, how it's explaining in a scientific and historical ways of creating a story. It packs a lot of information in just 250 pages. The first chapter tooktook me a whwhile to get the hang of info (hadn't read non fic in years), but then, it went pretty fast. Take this book of you want to knowthe whys of character making. But justbe aware the author uses some few stories for example so you might que spoiled.

Oh my god this book was like a m9voe in my mind! Even though I felt it was a slow start and a slow conclusion, when things started happening i couldn't stop listening. The characters were so believable, like you have know people like this. And for me is an easy book to make film.

I really liked the story but I felt it that it prolonged too much after you knew the plot twist. In general I always enjoyed a Stephen King's work.

Easy to read book. It felt to me a little dry and some of the background story didn't move the story, but i think that went lost in translation.

I gave it 3 stats because I really didn't care about the characters. And this might sound spoily,
but if they ment to fall in love don't make me read have of the book and whe they finally talk on a one to one basis, don't skip me to three years and now they are head over heals for each other. Like we are following this characters to fall for each other, so I really didn't like that.
But I'm certain that the main character is the circus itself, for its beautiful descriptions and how you can visualize it perfectly. That's the one thing that I really enjoyed about the book, how descriptive it was. In general I enjoyed it.
