Harriet and wyns relationship was so sad and beautiful and just EVERYTHING TO ME. They had me crying and laughing and giggling they were just so. I loved them sm. Although I do HATE the miscommunication trope and while i enjoyed wynharriet i really needed them to actually talk cuz all they did in “real life” was kiss fuck and continue with their “i love you but we cant be with eo bcuz youre happy now” like girl just TALK IT OUT PLS I WILL CRY PLS TALK JUST TALK. Anyways yeah i really really enjoyed this but the miscommunication was annoying me so bad😭

I enjoyed this sm it was a fun book and the characters were fun to read and follow with. I loved nings character how fierce but compassionate she was to the people, i specially loved her relationship with her sister Shu and with kang they were just so cute😭🩷. AND I LOVED THE SAPPHIC REP WITH ZHEN AND RUYI THEYRE WERE EVERYTHIGNT TO ME !!! Lowkey enjoyed seeing their dynamic and romance much more than the main couple (not that ning and kang are boring i just loved zhenruyi sm). Anyways yes a beautiful duology with amazing plot and characters loved this.

This was actually so boring and just BAD. Like what even was going on??? I couldnt connect to the characters, it felt like this was written soley for smut it was getting so repetitive istg just so bad and boring😭. 98% of the book is them fucking, 1% is a bit of emotional connection we got to see the mmcs have with eo, and 1% the third act break up that would've NOT happened if they actually talked in the beginning of the book. This book is 2 stars to me but the .5 is simply bcuz i enjoyed the moments when we got to see them being emotional with eo.
