Too much manic pixie girl for my liking. Capote writtes good, that’s for sure, but the fact that he developed an unnamed character that much and leaves Holly so flat, pissed me off honestly.

But it’s a nice read, besides my angry girly political reading on it.

Shocked with the fact that the movie has a complete different ending, still processing that.

Such a beautiful exploration on self knowledge, infancy wounds, self discovery and identity building, and at the same time, a constant support on art, in this case literature, as a way companion and mentor and shoulder to cry on. Literature does save people’s life.
