I don’t really know what to tell about this book. I liked it but I don’t loved it. It talks about teen suicide, and………..
I don’t know what to say, my mind is blank.
My rating: 7/10
“When you mess with one part of a person’s life, you’re messing with their entire life. Everything. . . affects everything.”
You wouldn't want to put this down once u pick it up!
This book revolves around the intricacies of the controversial 'e-surveillance/digital spying' of citizens' private data by the US government, not known to the public. The author effortlessly teleports us to the thrilling world of cryptography, code breaking and the legendary TRANSLTR, the ultimate codebreaking supercomputer with 3 million processors and the brainchild of Commander Trevor Strathmore, deputy director of operations, NSA (National security agency, USA).
This my second Dan brown book. I have read Angels and Demons three months back. And this book is as good as that. This book has so much detail and mystery within and the slow development of the story shows so the reader so much and also so little at the same time. Dan Brown loves to keep the reader in the dark and that's exactly what this book does. There is nat as many twists as in Angels and Demons ( It has twists in every three pages

A must read for a true crime Fan
A weird, little, sci-fi, Fantasy, classic book by Madeleine L’Engle. Out of this wild night, a strange visitor comes to the Murry house and beckons Meg, her brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin O'Keefe on a most dangerous and extraordinary adventure—one that will threaten their lives and our universe. A WRINKLE IN TIME is a classic sci-fi adventure for children by bestselling US author, Madeleine L'Engle
Although a little kiddish, it contains some immensely beautiful thoughts and words from across the universe (Seriously). It is not of earth, it is a kind of a dream or a fable (or an experience which cannot be described in the limited earthly words) and the author seems to have tried to put all that onto a paper - a nice attempt I'd say.
I don't think at all that everyone would like this book. It is a little weird and hard to understand(even though it is a children book). And it have so many quotes, from Shakespeare to Cervantes, Dante to the Holy bible. And it becomes a little nerdy at times. To be frank, I don’t understand everything in this book. But yet I liked it. Indeed it is a classic.
My rating: 8/10

A perfect read. This is what I can say about this book. One of Us Is Lying is the story of what happens when five strangers walk into detention and only four walk out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide. First off all, it is like a slow paced thriller, If you are an ardent fan of fast pace stories, you may not find this as appealing. I loved the way the author narrates the story. The book uses multi perspective story-line to show the points-of-view of all four student suspects. After reading this book we will feel a connection with these characters deep inside. And almost everybody can relate to the characters. It expresses teen’s feelings in a highly accurate way. And some of the character developments are so good. And the plot twist at the end was really unexpected. My favorite character of this book was Addy, she had a perfect character arc. Hats off.
I don’t know why, but after a long time I found the harry potter vibe in this book. I am not saying it’s like Harry Potter (they two are completely different genre), but I got that vibe in this book. Overall, One of Us is Lying is a surprising and engaging book that was hard to put down. I especially liked how each perspective of the characters was described in depth so that the audience was not left out of the storytelling. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves murder mysteries and young adult fiction. If I meet the author in the future ( I don't have time turner, so I cannot meet her in the past) I have so many things to talk to her. This book is definitely going into my ‘read again’ list. And this is one of my favorite books ever.
Rating: 9 /10.
Have a good day.
