It was entertaining and well-paced. Despite telling the same incident from different perspectives, it managed to not sound repetitive which is commendable. However, I felt some unnecessary details received too much attention and were stretched. Nevertheless, it was a creepy, engaging tale.

I'm not sure what I knew about this when I picked it up except the fact that it is about a seagull wanting to fly fast.

It wasn't bad, I wasn't disappointed because I had no expectations but I feel an inspirational tale of a seagull breaking boundaries would might have appealed to me more as a child than it did now.

I have never been a fan of such 'moral/inspirational stories' which might have lead to a bias working against it. I did enjoy the photographs and more or less the story too but the preachy part were too preachy for me.

So, in essence, great photographs, not for me.
