La historia me parece algo repetida, cliché, pero tiene algo que atrapa desde el primer momento, que te engancha de inmediato y hace que no dejes de leer hasta el final.
Hay algunas cosas que no terminan de cuadrarme, que no tienen casi sentido, pero supongo que irán teniéndolo mientras avance la historia.
Los dibujos no son mi estilo, pero son hermosos, el color, el diseño, todo está muy bien plasmado, y la trama promete BASTANTE.

¡Me encantó! Siempre me gustó la leyenda de Perséfone y cómo terminó en el Inframundo, verla como libro infantil fue simplemente maravilloso, además de está redactado de forma en que cualquier niño puede leerla; lo único que no me gustó fue lo breve y las ilustraciones.
I loved it! I always liked the legend of Persephone and how she ended in the Underworld, seeing it as a children's book was just wonderful, well worded so that any child can read it; what I just didn't like was how short it was and the illustrations.

¡No sé por qué dejé este libro tan olvidado! Es excelente de cabo a rabo y no pierde emoción. Cuando se pone algo ligero es solo para volverse catalizador del evento que sigue y queda perfecto.
Me encantó el personaje de Selene, simpaticé con ella y creo que entiendo su forma de actuar, así que es seguro que disfrutaré con su historia. Anders es un personaje que me dio mucha curiosidad, me tiene intrigado de dónde salió y cómo se relacionará con Selene en el futuro (¡¡TIENE QUE!! ¡¡AUTUMN KALQUIST TIENES QUE DARME MÁS DE ÉL!!).
La sociedad que presenta Autumn en este libro es muy interesante, es completa y creo que estoy comenzando a entender más o menos el tipo de inspiración que tuvo para la saga, y si estoy bien, me parece que estamos ante de una novela juvenil muy entretenida pero con un carácter adulto y un mensaje muy importante para todos.
¡Definitivamente leeré el resto de la saga a medida que vaya saliendo!
¿Quieres algo diferente, corto y de calidad? Este libro es la elección ideal :D
I don't know why I left this book so forgotten! It is excellent from beginning to end and it doesn't lose emotion. The point when the story becomes light is only to become a catalyst for event tracking and is perfect.
I loved the character of Selene, I sympathized with her and I think I understand her ways, so it's sure I'll enjoy whit her history. Anders is a character that made me very curious, has intrigued me where it came from and how he relates to Selene in the future ( HE MUST!!AUTUMN KALQUIST YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME OF HIM!!).
The society that Autumn presents in this book is very interesting, is complete and I think I'm beginning to understand more or less the kind of inspiration that took to the series, and if I'm right, I think that this is a very entertaining teen novel but with an adult character and a very important message for all.
I'll definitely read the rest of the series as they are launched!

Volver a leer esta historia fue increíble. Es uno de mis cuentos favoritos y cuando lo vi en el trabajo no pude evitar dejar todo de lado para leer un rato, así fueran unos cinco miserables minutos, pero fueron unos cinco miserables minutos que me llevaron de regreso a mi infancia. Los dibujos son tétricos y al mismo tiempo alegres, aptos para niños que tengan un gusto semi oscuro. ¿Quieres recordar esos tiempos en donde las casas de chocolate eran posibles? Lee este cuento.

It's one of my favorite stories and when I saw it at work I couldn't help but leave everything aside to read for a while, even if it were just five miserable minutes, but five miserable minutes that took me back to my childhood. The drawings are gloomy and at the same cheerful, suitable for children with a creepy tastes. Want to remember those times where chocolate houses were possible? Read this story.

Getting Down to Business by Ryan O'Leary, Ginger Ring

Debo admitir que fue una muy buena lectura. La tenía pendiente desde hace ya un buen tiempo y quise terminarla a la carrera pero sin perderme muchos detalles.
Jessie y BG son realmente una pareja explosiva, de esas que con solo tocarse arden en llamas de deseo y mucha lujuria. Personalmente, no me desagrada este tipo de parejas, porque sé que existen, no es la que más disfruto, pero repito, no me desagrada en lo absoluto.
Su romance fue muy acelerado, casi que irreal, pero lentamente las cosas se fueron normalizando, como pareja tomaron el rumbo que creo todo romance debería tomar, se conocieron, tuvieron sus momentos lindos, sus momentos sufridos, y faltó algún momento de pelea para darle dosis de realidad, porque todo era muy color de rosas en varias escenas.
En cuanto al elemento erótico, debo decir que me gustó bastante cómo la autora lo manejó. Es explícito en todo momento, rozando lo bochornoso a veces, pero fue una carta arriesgada que supo jugar y que dio muchos pros a favor de la novela. Si por capricho tocara señalar un contra, diría que fue ese fin de semana incendiario de nuestros protagonista. El cielo sabe que terminaron con un dolor crónico por tanto movimiento pélvico.
Mi punto favorito de la historia fue cada vez que Jessie se preguntaba si un hombre menor que ella podría corresponderle, y aunque no actuaba como una mujer mayor (por cierto, no es una anciana, en mi cabeza ella tiene 30 años y algo más) sí tenía sus escenas como tal.
Me parece una historia excelente en muchos sentidos, podría haber sido mejor en alguno que otro punto, pero Jessie y BG realmente se ganaron un puesto entre las parejas literarias que volvería a leer con mucho gusto.

I must admit it was a very good read. It was pending for quite a while and I wanted to finish it in a race but without missing details.
Jessie and BG are really an explosive couple, of those that just touching burn in flames of desire and a lot of lust. Personally, I don't dislike such couples, because I know they exist, they're not the most enjoyable for me, but again, I don't dislike them at all.
Their romance was very rapid, almost unreal, but slowly things were normalizing, as a couple they took the course I think all romance should take, you know, had their cute moments, its sustained moments, and missed some time fighting to give a dose of reality, because everything was rosy in several scenes.
As for the erotic element, I must say that I really liked how the author handled it. It's explicit at all times, verging on embarrassing in some scenes, but it was a risky letter that she knew how to play and gave many pros in favor of the novel. If whim touch point a counter would say was that weekend arson of our protagonist. Heaven knows they ended with chronic pelvic pain therefore movement.
My favorite story's point was each time Jessie wondered if if you could belong with a younger man, and although not acting like a woman (by the way, she's not an old woman, in my mind she's 30-something) did have his scenes as such.
Sounds like a great story in many ways, it could have been better in one or another point, but Jessie and BG actually won a place among the literary couples I would read again about with pleasure.

Cuando comencé a leer este libro, había algo en él que no me dejaba avanzar, pero no sé qué era. La narrativa era la misma, el estilo era el mismo, obviamente la historia era la misma, pero sentí que el inicio fue forzado por alguna razón, y sigo sin entender por qué. Avancé un poco más, por fuerza de voluntad, y seguía en lo mismo.
Era un fastidio leer, algo no estaba bien en las primeras páginas, y solo ahora me doy cuenta de que era la actitud de Tadeo y la forma en que veía todo y actuaba lo que me tenía de mal humor. Parecía un autómata que solo quería seguir órdenes y reprimía su naturaleza humana, supongo que esa es la actitud que debía tener, por su trabajo, pero igual me chocaba.
Cuando la historia tomó el punto de vista de Zephys y de otro personaje cuyo nombre no voy a rebelar, todo se volvió más interesante, y cuando retomó el de Tadeo, fue una espiral que ascendía sin cesar. La historia se volvió cada vez más interesante hasta que no podía dejar de leer.
No puedo decir nada negativo del libro, sencillamente que el cambio en el punto de vista fue tan radical que me costó un poco al principio poder leer, pero por lo demás es una historia fuerte que te atrapa y no deja que pienses en otra cosa que no sea en sus personajes tan humanos. 100% recomendada.

The narrative was the same, the style was the same, obviously the story was the same, but I felt that the beginning was forced for some reason, and I don't understand why. I walked a little more, with willpower, and still the same.
Annoyingly read, something wasn't right on the front pages, and only now I realize that was the attitude of Tadeo and how he looked everything looked and acted what made me cranky. It seemed an automaton who only wanted to follow orders and repress his human nature, I guess that's the attitude he should have for his work, but just shocked me.
When the story took the standpoint of Zephys and another character whose name I will not rebel, everything became more interesting, and when resumed Tadeo's one, was a spiral rose steadily. The story became more and more interesting until I couldn't stop reading.
I cannot say anything negative about this book, simply the change in point of view was so radical that it cost me a little at first to read, but otherwise is a strong story that grabs you and doesn't let you stop to think about anything but lest in its so human characters. 100% recommended.
