"Go out in the world and fuck it up beautifully."

Girl Juice was such a quirky, girly, fun graphic novel! This comic is set in a (possibly haunted) house where four twenty-somethings reside. Tula is a wannabe YouTuber, Nana is a wannabe clown, Sadie is a queer punk, and Bunny is a horny, god-fearing, hot girl. I absolutely adored these characters and could not get enough of their crazy antics. The art style is gorgeous, the writing is hilarious, and the pacing is perfect. I can't wait to read more from Benji Nate!

2.5 rounded down. From the cover, the title, and the synopsis, I thought I was going to love this one, but sadly it wasn't for me. It took me forever for me to get through it, and I probably should have just cut my losses and just DNFed it at the beginning of part 2. The narrator was obnoxious, but she was also a child, so that wasn't my biggest issue with this novel. I felt like nothing eventful happened for majority of the book. Jeanie and Mombie were interesting, but the rest was pretty dull to me. Plus, the slurs used throughout this novel felt really unnecessary and bothered me. For that reason alone, I probably would not recommend this book to anybody.
