An interesting book! Don’t expect any explanation of the sport, its terminology, or the background of less important characters. His writing can be occasionally unclear and repetitive, but I found his personal stories engaging. The book focuses on Ali more than anyone (for good reason), but I almost wish he would have written an Ali biography instead! Even still, I think this is a good introduction to the history of boxing.
