Crying in bed at 3am when I finished this book. Couldn't put it down and I can see why it is a favorite of so many! It really opened my eyes on the immense struggles people, especially women and children, went through during German occupation in Europe during WW2. The characters were so well written with incredible depth and their stories will stick with me long atter I've read them.
