I found out about this book passed the times when it would have been assigned reading it in school, but I was reading it and imagining it In that analytical way I would have in English class. Truely eye-opening, coming of age, and heart wrenching 😭

This book was wild and confusing from start to finish. Not saying it was bad, just...not for me. 2.5
I really hated Ryan’s girlfriend, Sam. She was portrayed as being all knowledgeable about the deeper meanings of things and all ethos bullcrap. To me she was just a useless character. (May or may not write a full review later. To be clear, I did really enjoy this though)
