I found this book to be slow-moving and almost boring for the majority of it. If this had been the first book in the series, it may have become a DNF. I am happy, though, that the slang that was so prevalent in the first book didn't appear so often in this book and the rest of the series. Also, the ending was fantastic. Without the ending, I would have rated this book a 3, but the ending bumped it up to a 4.

The plot in this book was better than the last one, but the number of chapters was ridiculous, especially for a reader who doesn't like when chapters are titled. I feel like the chapters should have been longer or the book should have been split into 2. Regardless it was still a decent read overall.

I think Court was the funniest book of the series. It actually had me laughing out loud. Still, a 4-star read in my mind.

The ending was great, but the first half of the book made me lose some respect for the FMC which is tragic after the emotional investment I'd given her in the first 4 books of the series.

A 3-star conclusion to the series.

I LOVED the movie that was spawned from this book and in terms of plot, the movie followed the book more closely than most. I'm happy to have experienced the book, but I will say that I didn't like the narrator's voice in the audiobook and had to switch to the ebook to enjoy the story. I wish the rest of the series were available through my library or KU, but they're not and I didn't like the story enough to buy the next one so I won't be continuing with the series.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, this series did have Hunger Games vibes (which is a good thing imo). However, the story is original enough that it didn't feel like a copycat in any way. I loved characters and the books are still on my mind weeks after finishing the story. Definitely recommend.

A stunning sequel to The Testing. I often feel that the second book in a series is not as good as the first, but I didn't feel like that at all with this series. If you liked The Testing, you will like this book just as much!

A fantastic conclusion to the series. This book kept the twists coming and had me on the edge of my seat. It was a brilliant conclusion to the series that left me wanting more!
