I liked it a lot, but from 75% of the book onwards I felt like everything was rushed and most of the +18 scenes felt unnecessary when there was so much plot and character relationships to explore. What about the videogame? And the tension between studios? And the off-on relationship of their bosses? I love some good spice, but this was not it. Still a very, VERY fun read with lots of fluff and chemistry.

I think I have a new fave Ali book. I just ADORE Maya and her relationship with Conor being a bit more slowburn than her other stories really paid off. They’re messy, they’re problematic, they’re human, and I loved every single page,
