Partly because after all I'd listened to, I couldn't believe I wasn't even halfway. Partly because I didn't really care what was going to happen. Partly because it bugs me when a main character seems to have no life outside of the events taking place (e.g., not one friend who calls to see when she's coming home). And Partly because of the audio narrator's voice — especially her French-Transylvanian accent.
