I'm a fairly organized kitchen person, so most of this wasn't new info for me, but it would be reassuring and helpful to someone who doesn't feel confident in the kitchen! She's very straightforward and encouraging. And there were a few new things that I found helpful!

So good! Absolutely loved the story and characters, and unlike some of his books this one ended strongly.
Very strong homophobia, sexism, and ableism. That part really didn't age well.
