The information in this book was helpful in terms of rewriting old money narratives in my brain. I think I got a little lost in all the inbetween text and so it did lead to a lot of skimming. However, again, the educational content was very helpful.

This book had the perfect combination of trying to figure out what was really going on, and also being wrapped up in how the characters were going to make it out. I really enjoyed the pace and amount of backstory sprinkled in.

Currently, I would give this book 5 stars. I believe if literally read while -things are falling apart- 5 stars. Perhaps when it doesn’t hit so hard to your current life, 3.75 stars, still very good.

The book definitely kept me engaged but had i not been on a timeline to finish it I would have not been so motivated. The story was interesting but not thrilling that kept you wanting to read more
