UGH. The characters in this were so annoying. Hannah girl, go to therapy. How are you going to get mad when your friends bring new friends to Christmas when your whole thing started as a safe space for two lonely people over the holidays?? DUMB

So many issues could’ve been solved if these people just had real conversations with each other

I had so much fun with this book!!! Viv is as enjoyable as ever, and I loved this new cast of characters (Fern is my girl). The storyline and setting were quintessentially cozy, with a little intrigue thrown in for spice. I may have enjoyed this one more than the first!

I think this just wasn’t for me. The book was well-written and engaging, but I just wasn’t a fan of the direction that the book took.

I DNFed this book last year and decided to come back to it and it surprised me! The beginning is slow, but listening to it over audio helped a lot. Once I made it through the beginning, I switched to the print book and really enjoyed it! This is a slower romance than what I’m used to, but the spice was fantastic and as the book progressed it was very sweet and swoony. I’m glad I revisited it!

This was a fun and interesting thriller! I finished it in about 3 hours, so it’s a good one if you need to be boosted out of a reading slump. My only issue is that there was a situation towards the end that I don’t think got resolved? Other than that, solid fun

Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
I’m sorry this was a snooze fest. Maybe it gets better but I read 70ish pages and nothing significant had happened

Admittedly, I’m not the biggest fan of slow burn. But this book could have been at least 150 pages shorter. The spicy scenes were great, but I found myself skipping large chunks of plot to get there, and that just made for an unsatisfying read overall.
