Actually really good and interesting. I am not a huge Freud lover but this made me sort of think about him differently

So confusing but really beautiful. However, I have zero intention of picking up another Joyce novel anytime soon…

Good but made me so anxious. Like it loses points just bc I was rooting for Portia and NOBODY understood her. Portia, sweetie, I know you would love Lana. She’s such a teenage girl ugh❤️

Did not finish book. Stopped at 53%.
This is the most self-absorbed, whining, indulgent book I’ve read maybe ever. I deeply regret spending money on this.

Super fun… but that’s about it. Like I def chuckled but it didn’t do anything for me other than being a bit crazy and silly?

So intricate, so beautifully written. This is a joy to read. I love how complicated it was, I love love loved Bowen's prose... this is easily my fave Bowen novel to date!
