Meant for Stone is the first book in Natasha Madison's new series, 'Meant For.' This book is a spin-off from her books Hollywood Playboy and This Is Crazy.

Stone Richards, a legacy NHL player, makes it clear from the moment he meets Ryleigh that he wants her. But the sassy Assistant District Attorney doesn't hesitate to tell him to get lost. But Stone knows how to work hard for what he wants, and when he sees her six months after their introduction, grabs her and kisses her.

A year later, they find themselves together again. And after lots of back and forth, they begin to meet up in secret. But living in 2 different cities (Chicago and Nashville) and busy careers only make things more challenging.

I loved Ryleigh's sass, and Stone's boldness is the stuff of dreams. A good-looking, hard-working man with a that knows what he wants and goes after it? Sign me up! And the large family is only a bonus. But, none of that phases Ryleigh. It all leads to banter that is well-written and fun to read.

Overall, Come Here and Kiss Me, is a 2 star read for me. There was a lot of spice, and it felt like more time was spent on crafting those scenes, and not the book as a whole. Don't get me wrong, the spice was great. But I also found the very first chapter to be the best spice in the book. After that, nothing compared.

There were also several major continuity issues throughout the story, most involving clothes being worn or their location during a spicy scene. At one point Ronan opens the door wearing only silk pajama pants. but the next page has his belt being removed. I went back and read it multiple times because I was so confused. After that, I noticed more and more errors like that.

The book is a good palate cleanser. It's a quick, lighthearted read. If you're looking for a book you can read in one sitting, this is a great option. But it just doesn't compare to other books out there.

Lonely for You Only has the foundation to be a great story. But, it fell flat, and earns only a 2 star rating from me. I like the story itself, but the pacing and the writing took away from it for me. The number of times that the ‘Lancaster fortune,’ or the incredible wealth and status they had was overkill. The birthday party was enough to show the kind of wealth this family has. The constant ‘reminders’ weren’t necessary.

I have issues with some of the characters, but my main thing with the story is the pacing and the ending. It was not until halfway through the book that Tate and Scarlett arrive in Los Angeles. To me, that is when bulk of the story occurs. But they went back and forth about whether or not to go through with this fake relationship for the public, that by the time they got to LA, I was ready for them to be together for real. There are plenty of great moments both in New York and in L.A., but I would have adjusted the sequence of those moments.

The ending was way too rushed. Within a few pages, Scarlett went from wanting to forget about Tate to admitting her feelings for him and hopping on the family’s jet to rush back to him.

I could easily see a second book detailing the two of the in their new, real, public relationship. There’s a lot of potential for a continuation of this story, but I don’t believe that it will happen. If it does happen, my rating of this book would be different.

Fallyn lost her older brother, Miles, 5 years ago in a car accident. Now, she's a college student who just found out her tuition for the semester has not been paid. Instead of moving back home like her parents wanted, she decides she'll get the money herself... by selling her virginity online for $30,000. When she gets a waitress job in a bar that is frequented by the school's hockey team, she finds herself frequently around Wolf Westerville, who she wishes she could forget.

While Fallyn tries to continue with her life, her parents are stuck. They haven't touched Mile's bedroom. On the anniversary of the accident, they spend the day in all black, mourning the loss of their son. Instead, Fallyn tries to focus on the good memories she had with her brother, and not focus on the guilt she feels over his death.

Wolf Westerville was best friends with Miles, and the trio (Wolf, Miles, and Fallyn) were inseparable as kids. One night, Miles and Fallyn pushed Wolf to go to a party and they all snuck out. The evening turned tragic when Miles was killed, and Fallyn spent weeks in the hospital and was left with a large scar on her chest. Now, Wolf is a hockey player in University and is working on his shot to play in the NHL. He's adored all over campus, and has the attention of almost every girl on campus. Except for Fallyn, the one girl he wants.

This story just... there aren't even words. I was blown away. From the description of the book, I was looking forward to reading it, and I knew I would like it. But The story goes beyond so much more than the blurbs. Initially, I expected Fallyn selling her virginity would be the focal point of the book, and it would be very surface level. In reality, that really became a secondary plot. Repairing the relationship between Fallyn and Wolf and their work to let go of their shared tragedy is the the real focus.

If you like brother's best friend, childhood friends, unrequited love, semi-second-chance stories, with a very real dose of reality in them, this book is for you! It's the first book by Jennifer Sucevic I've read, and it won't be the last!
