I really love the ambiance and the tension the book creates but the ending was so rushed and unsatisfying. I wanted more but I loved it regardless.

The best I can say about this book is that it introduces an interesting concept but that wouldn't be honest either. The writing is bad, the main character is completely unlikeable and it uses Chicago like a basis for factoids rather than anything mildly genuine
